Dede Craig is a native of Columbus, Ohio and has been playing tennis since the age of 8.  Dede attended Bloom-Carroll High School where she played both volleyball and basketball.  After high school she attended The Ohio State University and Ohio University-Lancaster.

Dede started her teaching career by working at The Don Budge Tennis Camp in McDonough, Maryland.  She spent 8 years in Troy, Ohio where she ran the Troy Recreation summer camps for all ages and coached high school tennis for 5 years.  In addition to running her summer camps, Dede also worked at Dayton Center Courts.  Following that, she moved to Toledo to teach at Westowne Tennis Club and coach tennis at Sylvania Southview High school. Previous to working at the Racquet Club of Columbus she worked and coached at the Rock Hill, South Carolina Tennis Center.

Dede is a Certified USPTA Tennis Professional.  The USPTA is the oldest and largest Professional Tennis Teaching organization in the world.

Dede has 3 children ages 20, 19 and 15 and they all play tennis.  She also enjoys running, hiking and attending many types of sporting events.

Joining our staff at the beginning of summer, she has been a great asset to our Recreational, Competitive, and Adult programs.
